🎓 The Challenge

One of the teams based in the Head Office is the Global Procurement Team. The team plays an important role in SHV Energy business, as its members are responsible for indirect procurement strategy and processes for the acquisition of goods and services, in a sustainable and financially viable way. One of the pillars to achieve this, is planning and executing the digital transformation journey to become a data-driven function. Currently, the team works with local procurement teams from more than 10 Business Units, located in different countries. Some of the common targets within the network of procurement teams is to deliver annually financial value and improve procurement processes, which are captured into KPIs.

The challenge is to implement KPI tracking in PowerBI and improve the data availability and quality, to support performance management.

The key activities and result areas will be as follows:

• Support the implementation of KPIs in Power BI and other potential digital solutions;
• Perform training to end users to facilitate understanding of visuals, with mindset of continuous improvement;
• Validate, interpret and present data quality results to stakeholders;
• Support the Procurement team in Hoofddorp with the various tasks and projects.

📝 What We Expect from You

• A master student, studying Supply Chain Management or equivalent;
• A proactive colleague passionate about procurement, processes, people and performance;
• Analytical skills & solution thinker, excellent execution skills coupled with strong judgement;
• A colleague with openness and curiosity to work in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Python, PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills. Excellent English language communication (oral and writing) as you will directly be in contact with stakeholders around the world

• Depending on your education and profile fit, an internship cost allowance around € 500.- gross a month, based on 40 hours per week;
• hybrid working; reimbursement of travel costs for days working in the office.
