Our new eager intern will support us on our Accounts Payable & Receivable. For this, you\u2019ll need to have a sharp eye, a structured mindset, and a desire to get down to the nitty-gritty. You take care of the input of all our financial systems and monitor the follow-up. Big responsibility? Absolutely. But if you like numbers and spreadsheets as much as our finance and business controllers, then this could be an awesome career move.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll help you to get quickly up to speed with your day-to-day tasks from accounts receivable and accounts payable to managing customer requests, creating new subscriptions in our systems, and, basically, everything that comes with it!<\/p>\n

    • Accounts Payable: route invoices through the approval system and ensure payment – leave no supplier behind;<\/li>\n
    • Accounts Receivable: bill customers if not done automatically and check if clients have questions – leave no cash behind;<\/li>\n
    • Internal expenses: ensure reimbursements are paid timely – leave no colleague behind;<\/li>\n
    • Bankbook: leave no booking behind;<\/li>\n
    • Employee questions: follow up on questions and updates – leave no update behind;<\/li>\n
    • Projects: work on Finance-related projects – leave no opportunity behind;<\/li>\n
    • Assist with the financial reporting: leave no CFO behind!;<\/li>\n
    • Depending on your school assignment we will look at different projects to participate in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • You\u2019re currently doing or just finished your bachelor’s degree in business administration, business economics, or finance and control in The Netherlands;<\/li>\n

            A day at Zivver<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Around 9:00 AM you start your day working from home. Sometimes you\u2019ll be at HQ, but most Zivvie\u2019s primarily work remotely. You fix yourself a cup of coffee and you start off doing your magic in Exact, Excel, and Salesforce – your favorite pieces of software. As it\u2019s Tuesday, you do a routine invoice check and notice something strange, so you call one of the Project Leads to understand the matter. Now that\u2019s out of the way, you\u2019ll finish creating the new subscriptions for the customers that joined Zivver this week.<\/p>\n

            In the afternoon, your focus is on expenses. You make sure all declarations are processed on time and send a few Slack messages to managers who haven\u2019t processed their approval flow. You notice a colleague hasn\u2019t used the right VAT percentage and correct the error. You also check the intranet how-to on declarations and update the process description so that mistakes are prevented from happening in the future.<\/p>\n

            After organizing your weekly tasks, you notice there\u2019s still room for more things to do. You check in with Teije to make sure it\u2019s okay for you to create the weekly report this time. As we encourage Zivvies to take on more responsibilities, Teije is of course fine with you taking on this task. As you\u2019d like this report to become one of your recurring tasks, you\u2019re fired up and focused to ensure this week’s report is the best one ever! After a final check by Teije, you send it out yourself.
